Gaurika Bhat – Public Relations

Gaurika is currently a senior at Chattahoochee High School. Upon hearing of the successes of 121Reach from some of her fellow classmates, she decided to join the club at the beginning of her junior year. Since then, Gaurika has enjoyed teaching and mentoring middle school students in subject matter as well as in life skills. “121Reach,” she says, “is an activity that is beneficial to both middle school students and high school students.  For middle schoolers, 121Reach is an additional means of learning and networking. For high schoolers, the club is a satisfying way of being involved in the community. The value of the bond and partnership between the two age groups is priceless”.
Apart from her involvement with 121Reach, Gaurika also participates in several activities and clubs in and out of school.  In school, she is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Spanish Club, and Co-President & Founder of Books for Africa. Outside of school, she is a frequent volunteer at Northeast Spruill Oaks Library and a youth committee member of the Maharashtra Mandal of Atlanta, as well as an avid dancer. In her free time, Gaurika enjoys singing, dancing, playing tennis, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.
