Penn Hansa thinks it’s ironic that her name is Penn and she likes to write. This love of writing is effectively proved in her different activities – she is Copy Editor for Chattahoochee’s Yearbook Staff, a staff member of VOX Teen Communications, a summer intern at Cox Enterprises, a fall semester intern at Atlanta Metropolitan Publishers, and she is currently working on a novel she hopes to finish by summer 2011.
Though her craft appears to take up all her time, she also swims for her school, blogs random thoughts, practices her amateur photography skills, shops until she drops, bakes scrumptious desserts, designs websites, and beats her brother in Super Smash Brothers Brawl (bring it on).
Academically, Penn has been taking honors and AP courses, primarily in math and English, throughout her high school career. She is also a member of Chattahoochee’s Beta Club and Varsity Swim Team. Her plethora of activities and interests make her a busy person, but there is nothing she loves better than planning surprises.
