She ran long distance track for three years. Outside of school, Sara enjoys hiking, nature photography, traveling, and volunteering, especially at the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve. She also loves to explore the worlds of music and books. Sara hopes to pursue a major in the environmental field.

Sara says:

“I know that school can definitely be a stressful time with juggling schoolwork, sports, clubs, work, and a social life, but I’m learning to take it easy while at the same time keeping up a high motivation to excel. I have discipline in most everything I do and I am not satisfied with an unfinished, unoriginal, or sloppy job. Building a foundation of good study skills is fundamental for success in high school. It is not only based on natural academic ability and this is something I am still working on. As one of the founders of 121Reach, I hope to help create a comfortable environment for learning, building relationships, and enjoying life.”
