Susmita Gorai is a freshman at Georgia Tech where some of her favorite subjects include Spanish, Math, and Science. She is a hardworking and dedicated individual. In high school she was actively committed to being the Secretary of 121Reach, Co-Vice President of the Chattahoochee Green School Club, and a member of the Chattahoochee Camerata Orchestra. She is a frequent volunteer at a public library, medical clinic, and the Bengali Association of Greater Atlanta. Her hobbies range from reading to solving Sudoku puzzles in her spare time.
Susmita says,
“Kids today have so much pressure put on them by society to excel. Some kids are able to do so and others need some guidance to reach their ultimate potentials. This is what 121Reach is for. We do not ever discriminate children based on their needs. We help everyone. Although my job as Secretary holds many responsibilities for the organization of 121Reach, I still place immense value over great tutoring experiences. When I see smiles on children’s faces, I know we are doing a great job. We want everyone to succeed in life. Join 121Reach and you shall not be left behind.”
